During my time at Cleo, I founded and led the UX practice. Aside from developing an intuitive interface recognized among the competition, I also implemented new processes which made user-centric design the go-to approach in the organization.
My work on this project is subject to confidential agreements. Images used are publicly available.
In this role, I undertook a diverse range of responsibilities, including research, design, and product management. With a strong sense of drive and the trust of my peers, I contributed to shaping the product vision and ensured that users were kept at the heart of decisions.
Led the design of web and mobile experiences for new features, using the Lean UX approach to quickly validate ideas and reduce risks
Ensured a user-centered approach in the development of an AI model that automatically learns vehicle duty cycles
Positioned UX as a strategic function within the company, and influenced strongly the product roadmap
Implemented a user research repository that became a central process within the company
The smart platform, both in desktop and mobile version, automatically manages fleet charging by anticipating vehicles’ energy needs. Compatible with most vehicle models and charging stations, it helps to better operate an electrified fleet.
The platform serves large transportation companies who are electrifying their vehicle fleets. Some users utilize the platform to monitor charging operations and assist in troubleshooting. Other users are more interested in charging cost reduction, and use the platform for its advanced charging algorithms
the commercial EV market being young, very few softwares offer a similar feature set. I designed based on what users needed, not what I saw elsewhere
Users have not yet developed a complete mental model of how things work, therefore we needed to help them understand and empower them to make the right decisions
Mixed methods research
In my UX projects, I have employed a variety of user research methods to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors, and inform design decisions.
User research repository
I implemented a user research repository that became a central process within the company. If we discuss further in person, I can demonstrate how my work helped to create a culture of empathy for users and put UX at the heart of product roadmapping
Workshop facilitation
To ensure the team focuses on the right problems and overcomes their assumptions, I have facilitated numerous workshops. These sessions have been key in aligning team members and driving effective problem-solving
I was an active contributor in building the product roadmap, and reevaluated it frequently as user needs evolved. My recommendations on which features would create the most value for users were sought after, and I would frequently build narratives to bring executives onboard.
